White Girl

What Did I Do Wrong

I was so careful and loving with my pumpkin. I told it my dreams and fears. We were to marry in the Spring. Why must you hurt me by shrinking, molding and sprewing pumpkin liquid all over my counter? Why can't you be strong like the other pumpkins? It shouldn't end this way, but you leave me no other choice. I must triple trash bag you and toss you into the dumpster like you did our love.

Down Time

This is the view from my bed after we drove to Missouri to buy alcohol because it was too late to do so in Kansas. That was a sweet road trip though. I haven't done that with them in so long. I forgot that Arika has to pee all the time. We sat around half asleep and then tried to go to Krispy Kreme, which was closed. Closed. Krispy Kreme. Closed. Party over.

Finally

Michelle finally got to wear her white dress. The wedding was a good time (beside the part where Jennifer and I were late and we came in when everyone was expecting Michelle). Yes, we are wearing jeans. It was late. Michelle is still dressed up because she is trying to get her money's worth.

A Little Action

We've got Sandra the pimp getting the ball to fulfill her QB duties with Danny and Mari heading across the line. Hey Danny, those are my softball batting gloves!!! Does that mean that I get a bit of credit for your catches? Mari looks like she is trying to walk against a strong wind and yes....that is a softball field that the girls have to play on. Go equailty!!!

This Is A Weird Dream

Awwww...Mary. I will never understand how you can turn that confused look on your face into good, scoring plays. Beeee the ball. I must confess that this picture was not taken during game time. It's more likely that she is checking out some girl on the sidelines and trying to figure out if she is single or not. Then drawing up a plan that will end with her and said girl breaking in her new couch.

Amped To Get Into The Game

Mari stands idly by and awaits the defense to get the ball back so she can create chaos across the yardage or.......she just likes to wear her jersey around town. She's always wearing it around the house and denying me her autograph when really I'm trying to explain to her that having all the track lighting bulbs turned onto her might not be a good idea for a long period of time. I personally like to wear my quarantine outfit while window shopping in the downtown area. I wonder if that is illegal in the same way that yelling "Fire!" is. This is one of the few pictures where she is not giving me the "don't take my picture" frown. I'm getting good at the sneak up and snap approach.

Flag Football Mania

This is a pic of the team after their last game of regular season. They won again, but I have no idea how they are doing it without me out on the field getting hit in the head when passes come to me or running to the wrong end zone. Does the other team get the points if you do that?

How Precious

I did the pumpkin on the left, Mari's is in the middle and Eva's is on the right. Someone should start a business of cleaning out the guts of the pumpkins prior to selling them and charging a bit more. I would have paid some cash to not clean it out. The house was unharmed.

No Quarters

Some kid put their valuable allowance into this machine and then left after the first song and we were quick to grab up on it. Amateurs! I hogged the machine for the most part, but I felt Beatriz staring me down wanting a chance to show me up. Eva is taking notes and Mari seems to have found her reflection in the video screen.

My Game

What you are viewing here is the mid game historical moment where I beat Mari at something. Eva can't even open her eyes because she can't comprehend the reality of it. Notice that Mari still appears cocky at this point. I was up by about 2 million at this point and it had nothing to do with me being the score keeper. We will never play mini golf again.

Do You Have The Key?

This is Mari's mom. Her name is Maria and she is really cool. She has way more energy than I do. Never go to her house on a full stomach because you're just going to have to eat more. "Eat! Eat! Oh, you're not full. Try this. Have some of this too. You stay there I'll make some more."

The Big Pull

We played nickel and penny games most of the time in Vegas, but Mari finally took the plung and put a $1 into this slot machine. She, as the usual story goes, won $2. She then quickly cashed out. I was sure that the old lady that had just pumped about $30 in that machine was going to try to jump us in the parking lot after our hardcore celebration over the $1 profit.

Circus, Circus

Pia and Mari were running around this casino blowing all of their money on the carnival games. Oh wait, that's right, Pia already blew all of her money at a poker table within 2 minutes. Mari won enough stuffed animals that we didn't need to buy anyone souvenirs. Me likes me monkey.
