2005 Is Born

During my evening mixture of vodka, beer and champagne I believe that the highlight was the bag of burning chips on the stove. I think I made a pizza. No wait, I think I only got a box out and then someone took over during my struggles. I understand that there was lots of dancing including moshing and the tango. I called St. Louis after midnight to mumble to them and have them mumble back. I miss them a lot. This was the first New Year's without them. Why does alcohol always erase your memory of the drive home? Thanks for being the dd Mari. Much thanks to the hostesses Mary and Nicole. Is the mask still around the house?

Pose, Now Drink!

Angie is celebrating getting to leave her crutches at home, Catherine is trying to get drunk to forget that she lost Angie on her volleyball team for the season, Holli is drinking because, well, she's awake and Erika is trying to get rid of the hangover that she made the previous night.

6 p.m.?

I have tons of pics where CC is passed out. Those could be a whole other blog too. Maybe Mari is just holding her up here. Mari played the sober game while I did an evening of drunk walking down the hallway. I'm sure CC would have done the same if she didn't end up passed out on this couch to hold onto her glorious record.

Must Have Been Fun To Clean Up

This picture isn't crooked or of nothing so Mari must have taken it. Jill is sporting her rock star or what was that light pose, Malia has already been defeated by gravity and Nicole is taking a break from the mask that she managed to keep on all night even during beer pong that we got our asses kicked in.

Land Ahoy!

Vampires have no reflection, but what does it mean when your reflection is Kim? After Zach discovered his inner woman and shed a few estrogen induced tears, he fixed the leaky pipe under the sink by shoving a piece of wood under it and he never had to put down his bud light.

Card Worthy

Here I am with my husband Nadia and are two girls Kim and Allison. Those brilliant smiles on their faces come from their dentist father. Kim, the oldest, is going into the 4th grade this year and Allison is about to embark on the 2nd grade. They grow up fast! Btw, it IS better in Annada and I won trivial pursuit!

OG

So, April, my first friend, gives me wonderful gifts. One year it was a black nightie with a matching water bra. This year it is a lovely hot pink purse. I get to document using the purse via pictures. New blog perhaps? I think that she wants to have at least one fight with me before we die and that gang sign means I love you.

AAAA

Xmas night we always run away to April's house. I gave April a can of rotten beans and a 1970s male photography book, Arika the prom outfit I was wearing when she first saw me and a Ziggy stuffed animal, Amy some still packaged 1980s flashes and a $1 store Beatles documentary on vhs.

Bright Light

So my pops got one of his xmas gifts from my mom early. It was a bottle of some sort of whiskey that I would have tried to figure out how to sneak some of back in the day. We share the gift of Schlitz now. This pic was about 3 in the morning and he was a happy fella. Now I know where I get the pic squint from.

Dimetap Cookies Perhaps?

Since I haven't gone to church since the age of 9, when the fam goes to midnight mass on Christmas eve I get to babysit. The problem is that they are so excited there is no way to get them to relax. I subdoed them momentarily with a new barbie dvd. When they reached the peak of santa freakout, I let them open their presents from me. This kept them busy for about 5 seconds and made my pedestal of favorite aunt even higher.

No Flash

My lady had a b-day.
We ate until full.
She had a salmon fillet.
I had meat; how cruel.
She finally saw the blue men.
I opened all doors for her.
The show made her face grin.
The rest of the night is a blur.

My Bill is $20

This is a house out in my sister's hood (Round Lake Beach). They add more every year. You have to see it to get a good grasp of it. It has a train that goes around the whole yard, a merry go round, music, another train in the garage and various other moving things. The love their neighbors must have for them.

Maybe PC It's Child Supervison Instead

This is my niece Heather and my sister Susan who is not her mother. Susan was babysitting and I decided that them meeting Mari and me at the mall would help out. Heather wore out quick and she didn't try to trick me or throw things at me or use me as a jungle gym. It was a boring day.
